LOW ALTITUDE BUSH SPRINT

4.2/5 (14)

Low Altitude Bush Sprints (or short LABS) are new type of activities. The goal is to fly through all waypoints while remaining below enforced AGL (Above Ground Level) limit. Tracks have different difficulty and can be mostly divided in 3 categories:

  • Propeller and jet friendly ones which are more about the area
  • Propeller city tracks - fly between buildings
  • Jet bush sprints where landscape topography puts your skills to the test

"Complete Bundle" contains all 9 tracks from Landmarks, Mountains and Cities bundles. Buying it you are saving 10%. Included tracks:

  • Alps - Track in area which some might be familiar with from Tour de Alps bushtrip. A demanding long flight leading you through valleys and over mountain tops.
  • Aoraki/Mt Cook - Located in beautiful Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. Cruise to the top of glacier, enjoy views of rivers, lakes and numerous mountains.
  • Canada - Medium difficulty track in Yoho National Park Of Canada.
  • Grand Canyon - A home of endless possibilities when it comes to Low Alt Bush Sprints. Cruise between canyon walls admiring the beauty of this majestic place.
  • London - Easy start takes you on a cruise above River Thames. The challenge level raises significantly once London centre is reached.
  • Manhattan - Real urban labyrinth. Cruising down long, straight streets can be really relaxing, if only there was no turn right in front of you.
  • Monument Valley - Fly in this majestic location at sunrise. It is a jet track, but it can be completed in a propeller plane like the Extra 330LT. Disclaimer: due to the bugged collision boxes around monument landmarks it is advised to not get too close to them. This hopefully will be changed by the MSFS team in the future.
  • Tokyo - Easiest city track in the bundle. Enjoy views of Mount Fuji and setting Sun.
  • Uluru - Track around the most recognisable natural landmark in Australia and its neighbour - Kata Tjuta/The Olgas. The flight takes time during sunset to bring out the most beauty of this region.

Key info:

  • AGL limit enforced, mission fails after 5 seconds above limit
  • Only a couple of waypoints in the front are visible
  • Mission completes once plane is landed on marked airport
  • Multiple planes available*

*One of the most notable features of LABS missions is plane selection. Yes, these missions allow you to choose from a list of available planes. At the moment this is based on a list provided with the mission so some planes will be missing. Hopefully, with the help of the community and aircraft creators the list will be completed soon.

Disclaimer: Please note that these missions are using some of the features which are not yet fully documented or implemented in the simulator. As result the product should be treated as an early version, which will change once more simulator features are available to content creators.
