Low Altitude Bush Sprints (or short LABS) are new type of activities. The goal is to fly through all waypoints while remaining below enforced AGL (Above Ground Level) limit.
"Landmarks Bundle" should be treated as an introduction level tracks. Created to accommodate a wide range of different planes, from propeller to jets. The AGL limit is set to 50 meters (165 feet), and the waypoint cylinder areas have 50 meters radius.
Tracks in bundle:
- Aoraki/Mt Cook - Located in beautiful Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. Cruise to the top of glacier, enjoy views of rivers, lakes and numerous mountains.
- Monument Valley - Fly in this majestic location at sunrise. It is a jet track, but it can be completed in a propeller plane like the Extra 330LT. Disclaimer: due to the bugged collision boxes around monument landmarks it is advised to not get too close to them. This hopefully will be changed by the MSFS team in the future.
- Uluru - Track around the most recognisable natural landmark in Australia and its neighbour - Kata Tjuta/The Olgas. The flight takes time during sunset to bring out the most beauty of this region.
Key info:
- AGL limit enforced, mission fails after 5 seconds above limit
- Only a couple of waypoints in the front are visible
- Mission completes once plane is landed on marked airport
- Multiple planes available*
*One of the most notable features of LABS missions is plane selection. Yes, these missions allow you to choose from a list of available planes. At the moment this is based on a list provided with the mission so some planes will be missing. Hopefully, with the help of the community and aircraft creators the list will be completed soon.
Disclaimer: Please note that these missions are using some of the features which are not yet fully documented or implemented in the simulator. As result the product should be treated as an early version, which will change once more simulator features are available to content creators.
