Discovery flights - Unique places - Part 5

Most of these places that you can discover on these flights were discovered by Google Earth enthusiasts, but some were also discovered by chance by myself. Although they are recognizable as such in the simulator, they are not marked as such. So it's interesting to fly to these places and get some of the information I've researched for them.

I would call the first 3 discovery flights “Written in the earth”. They are geoglyphs that may not be visible in the next update of the MSFS because someone had an idea to write something on the earth that only lasts for a short time. You can see:

• LUECKE farm, Texas
• MICK, South Australia
• Labyrinth in a cornfield, Germany

The second part with 3 more discovery flights is dedicated to a completely different topic. The world is going crazy at the moment. One crisis after another, the war in Ukraine - who would have thought that this could happen again in Europe - fires and partly man-made disasters are shaking the world. The brutal violence that is being perpetrated casts doubt on people's humanity. These 3 discovery flights are intended to remind us of the cardinal virtues of the Christian West: faith, hope and love - faith in the good, hope for peace and love for all that lives. There are 3 symbols for this; the cross, the anchor and the heart. So you will visit these 3 places:

• Cross in Kazakhstan
• Anchor in Tasmania
• Heart of Voh in New Caledonia

You will never fly directly to the chosen object on these discovery flights. You have to follow directions to find it. This makes the flight a little more exciting and you can discover many other interesting things in the simulator along the way. But don't worry, you will always find it. After a certain amount of searching, a widely visible marker will show you the object you are looking for. This can give your ambition an extra boost. Find what you are looking for before the marker appears.

The texts are multilingual and machine-translated into all MSFS languages. If you find any errors, please let me know. If a tile from one of the flights is missing under Activities / Third Party, it is usually because a Standard Edition aircraft and/or a livery is missing. So make sure that all standard aircraft including their liveries are installed. The only exceptions are the jets; I don't use them for these flights.
