It is certainly not my intention to be vulgar here. But Mother Nature—and sometimes people, too—create things that you simply have to see. I’m referring to three phallic symbols that were brought to my attention by Google Earth users. The phallus as a symbol is not in the least bit vulgar—on the contrary: a phallus is an ancient symbol that, in many early cultures, stands for fertility, creation, procreative power, and strength. As a protective symbol, it was often meant to ward off misfortune, such as the winged phallus in ancient Rome, which served as an amulet against the “evil eye.” However, these six discovery flights also focus on prehistoric heritage in Peru, China, and Kazakhstan, which we’ll be taking a closer look at. On these discovery flights, you never fly directly toward the selected object. You must follow directions to find it. This makes the flight a bit more exciting, and you can discover many other interesting things in the simulator along the way. But don’t worry—you’ll always find it. After searching for a while, a marker visible from a distance will indicate the object in question. This can give your ambition an extra boost. See if you can find what you’re looking for before the marker appears.

If a tile for one of the flights is missing under “Activities / Third-Party Content,” it’s usually because an aircraft from the Standard Edition and/or a corresponding livery is missing.
