Our beautiful Earth has even more surprises in store for you in the flight simulator—ones that are well worth exploring. Most of these places were once again discovered by Google Earth users who scan the Earth’s surface for unusual features and wonder what they might be. Fortunately, on these 6 flights, there was always someone who knew exactly what they were looking at and could share their knowledge with the community of seekers and questioners. On these discovery flights, you never fly directly toward the selected object. You have to follow directions to find it. This makes the flight a bit more exciting, and you can discover many other interesting things in the simulator along the way. But don’t worry—you’ll always find it. After searching for a while, a marker visible from a distance will indicate the object in question. This might give your ambition a little extra boost. See if you can find what you’re looking for before the marker appears.

If a tile for one of the flights is missing under “Activities / Third-Party Content,” it’s usually because an aircraft from the Standard Edition and/or a corresponding livery is missing. So make sure all standard aircraft, including their liveries, are installed. The only exceptions are the jets; I don’t use them for these flights.
