Waimea Canyon in Hawaii

Aloha from Hawai'i. The third part of Koschi's canyon series leads to Hawaii, to Waimea Canyon. The canyon measures just 16 kilometers and is thus quickly flown through. Therefore, as in the previous parts, it will not only be a flight through the canyon, but you will also be presented with other sights of the small island of Kauai. Waimea is Hawaiian and means "reddish water", a reference to the erosion of the red rock of the canyon. The canyon was formed by a deep cut in the Waimea River caused by extreme rainfall on the island's central peak, Mount Waiʻaleʻale, one of the wettest places on earth.

You fly with a Cessna Skyhawk G1000 the two legs over almost 100 NM through the spectacular Waimea Canyon, paradisiacal beaches and towering cliffs of Kaua'i.

Live weather conditions provide you with new challenges and endless enjoyment on this bush trip with every flight. Of course you can change the weather and some assistance options during the flight.
