Discover Germany - Part 3

Welcome to the third part of the five-part "Discover Germany" series. I'm delighted to be able to accompany you on this journey. Following on from the last tour, "Discover Germany - Part 2", we start at Emmerich Airport and follow the River Rhine for 560 nautical miles to the Austrian border at Lake Constance. The Rhine is the longest river crossing Germany. As the Limes - the border fortification of the Roman Empire - ran to the east of the Rhine, the Rhine takes us through areas steeped in history and inhabited by the Romans since ancient times. The diverse beauty of the Rhine is praised and celebrated in many songs, poems and legends. The river fascinates millions of visitors every year, who are impressed by its panorama, the surrounding vineyards and the architectural monuments.

This trip will take you over 560 nautical miles in 8 legs from the Dutch border to Lake Constance. The Cessna Skyhawk G1000 offers balanced and optimal flight characteristics, as you take off and land on both large airports and small grass airstrips.
