Discover Germany – Part 4

Southern Germany and the Alps

In the previous tour, "Discover Germany - Part 3", we flew over Lake Constance and landed in Friedrichshafen. Now we will fly over the German Alps to the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain, and then in a somewhat haphazard fashion, criss-cross the southern states, a short stretch along the Upper Swabian Baroque Route, to the mines of the Saarland and back east to the Vogtland. It is precisely the criss-crossing nature of the route in southern Germany that has made it possible to include all the attractions in this area from the DACH and DACH2 World Updates. It is recommended that you have both world updates installed. I hope you enjoy discovering this part of Germany for yourself.

This trip will take you over 1,100 nautical miles in 18 legs from South West Germany, over the Alps to the Czech border, then west to the French border and back east to the Vogtland region. Since you take off and land at both major airports and small grass runways, the Cessna Skyhawk G1000 offers balanced and optimal flight performance.

The texts are machine translated into English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Korean and Turkish. If you find any translation errors, please let us know.

All flights can be found under Activities -> Custom Content. Many support options are available to help you customise your flight experience.

Good luck and happy landings, Nordheim Missions and Koschi.
