37th Gliding World Championships in Szeged

From July 25 - August 8, 2022, the 37th World Gliding Championships were held in Szeged, Hungary. The circuit covered a distance of 175 nautical miles. Depending on the weather and thermals, it took the competitors about 4 hours to complete the course. This circuit is not about speed, it's just about completing the course. You'll find optimal weather conditions and be able to glide long distances, provided you've been able to gain enough altitude beforehand.
