Caribbean Nights - Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala & Belize
If you have already purchased missions from the “Caribbean Nights” series, you may be surprised that this mission was not created byThis package contains 3 missions, an additional airport and a very special scenery. In all missions a GPS course is available, weather and times can be customized and they can be flown as multiplayer missions. Many other settings are also unlocked to customize the flying experience. The missions offer a lot of entertaining information about the history, culture and economic context of the destinations flown to. The texts in the Navlog are machine-translated into all available languages of the MSFS. Therefore, translation errors may occur. I would be grateful if such errors are brought to my attention for correction.
Now to the individual missions:
Nicaragua
On this trip, you will get to know the rather sparsely populated east of the country, visit some paradisiacal Caribbean islands and take a detour to Colombia, which is closer to Nicaragua than you might think. So let yourself be surprised. With a few more routes to cover over the sea and only a small jungle airstrip at the end of the trip, the fast Cessna Grand Caravan is certainly a good choice for this trip.Honduras
You will encounter a varied and interesting history in Honduras. Some of the country's conquerors and fathers, who are still revered as national heroes today, were responsible for the genocide of the Mayas. The country's culture is particularly interesting. It is an ethnological melting pot with a Spanish-influenced culture mixed with indigenous influences. The world-famous ruins of Copán, which you will visit, are therefore definitely a highlight of this trip. The PC-6 will provide you with valuable services at small airstrips and large international airports.Guatemala & Belize
Guatemala is considered the heartland of the Mayan civilization with impressive archaeological sites, which we unfortunately do not get to see. The country is characterized by stark contrasts between great poverty and cultural wealth; it is one of the poorer countries in the Americas. As a former British colony (until 1981), Belize is the only English-speaking country in the region, but offers enormous ethnic diversity. With only around 400,000 inhabitants, it is extremely sparsely populated and is known for its relaxed way of life, which is often referred to as “Go Slow”. The country is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world, the Belize Barrier Reef, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I have to admit that I had never been to this part of the world by simulator before. The variety of landscapes and the colors you encounter here were very impressive to me. Look forward to a comfortable journey with the Cessna 172 (G1000) over Guatemala and Belize, ending in the Mexican city of Chetumal on the Yucatan Peninsula.Previously published missions in this series
