GUIDED TOURS – NEW JERSEY VFR New Jersey offers a landscape of unexpected geographical variety. This collection invites enthusiasts to traverse the skies above the state, moving from the southern sandy peninsulas of the Atlantic coast to the rugged mountain ridges of the northwest. You will encounter coastal barrier islands, dense pine forests, colonial settlements, and quiet valleys.

Every mission combines practical VFR flying with an evocative narrative. With over 100 audio recordings, your tour guide provides background on natural and human history, and gives insight on specific points of interest while you explore the Areas.

Your journey begins at the southern tip of the peninsula at Cape May, moving along the sandy beaches of the Atlantic barrier islands toward the salt marshes of Atlantic City. From there, the path turns inland to cross the vast pine woodlands of the New Jersey Pinelands, before tracking north through the Raritan Valley toward the northern corridor. The terrain shifts as you reach the rugged Ramapo and Kittatinny mountains, providing expansive wilderness vistas near High Point. The tour then guides you south over the rolling Watchung ridges, following the Delaware River past the state capital of Trenton, before steering along the riverbank marshes toward the agricultural plains of Salem County, completing the scenic loop back to the southern cape.
