GUIDED TOURS – NORWAY VFR Twelve handcrafted VFR missions designed as a single, coherent journey across the full vertical span of Norway - from the Barents Sea headlands of Finnmark to the inner Oslofjord.

Norway is a country that changes character every hundred kilometers — from the Barents Sea headlands of Finnmark to the sheltered fjords of western Norway, from the Arctic industrial towns of Nordland to the centuries-old coastal timber settlements of the south. This package was built to cover all of it, at low altitude, at your pace, in one of general aviation's most capable cross-country aircraft.

Every mission combines practical VFR flying with an evocative narrative. With over 220 audio recordings, your tour guide provides background on natural and human history, and gives insight on specific points of interest while you explore the Areas.

The Bonanza G36 was a logical choice. Nimble enough to thread the fjord valleys, capable enough to sustain the longer northern legs, and honest enough to demand real pilot engagement throughout. This is not an airliner auto-managing the route for you. Every cruise level was chosen to keep the landscape in front of you rather than below a cloud of abstraction.

The flight plans were drawn waypoint by waypoint to follow the most operationally and visually rewarding lines through each region: along the Varangerfjord's broad northern shore, over the Lyngen Alps' glaciated ridgelines, down the intricate western coastline from Alesund to Bergen, and along the intimate Skagerrak coast back toward the Oslofjord.

Cruise altitudes descend progressively as the route moves south — from 7,500 feet in the exposed Finnmark landscape to 4,500 feet in the final Oslofjord leg — placing you closer to the terrain precisely where the terrain rewards proximity.
