Introducing, the Luxury Speedboat - brought to MSFS by Adi S.

The Luxury Speedboat has been built from the ground up, exclusively for MSFS2020 and includes:

Note:

  • Adding too much power too fast at lower speeds will lead to extremely sensitive rudder and a lot of oversteer. This is because the 'rudder' needs to be sensitive enough to be able to manoeuvre at higher speeds, so the effectiveness value that works at higher speeds does not work at lower speeds and vice versa. I have gone with the value that is best for higher speeds since this is a speedboat.

The Aquariva Super is a twin-engine, inboard-drive luxury speedboat by renowned Italian yachtbuilder Riva. The runabout, which comes in a number of variants and special editions, was introduced in 2000 and can accommodate up to eight, including captain. Based on Riva’s all-wood Aquarama, which the company produced between 1962 and 1996, the Aquariva Super is considered to be one of the all-time greats of its class due to its performance and aesthetics.

The Aquariva Super features a deep V-hull design, fiberglass reinforced plastic construction, a mahogany deck with maple inlay, and a single cabin with two berths. It measures 33 feet bow-to-stern, has a 9 foot, 2 inch maximum beam, displaces 14,551 pounds, and has a draft of 3 feet, 2 inches. The Aquariva Super is powered by two Yanmar 8LV370 8-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines in sterndrive inboard configuration that each produce up to 370 horsepower, 740 total. The 127-gallon fuel capacity gives it a range of 155 nautical miles (178 statute miles), it cruises at 36 knots (41 mph), and has a top speed of 41.5 knots (48 mph).

With a sleek design and crafted out of decades of high-performance experience, the Riva Aquariva Super provides one of the best experiences to be had on water. The runabout shines in all conditions due to its deep V-hull design, power, and displacement, even in rough seas.
