The P-40 was one of the critical aircraft during the early years of World War II. Developed in America and used by Russian, Australian, English and American pilots in all of the theatres of war.

The P-40B Tomahawk is a single-seat, single-engine, all metal military fighter aircraft produced in America and used throughout the Second World War, most notably perhaps with the famed Flying Tigers. The fighter was coveted for its sturdiness, maneuverability, dive speed, and lethality. It’s armament included four wing-mounted .30 caliber machine guns and two fuselage-mounted .50 caliber machine guns.

The P-40B features a low main wing with a span of 37 feet, 4 inches, a traditional empennage, and retractable landing gear. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 12-cylinder Allison V-1710-33 engine that delivers 1,040 horsepower to a three-blade, constant-speed propeller. It has a top speed of 352 miles per hour, a ceiling of 32,400 feet above sea level, climbs at 2,860 feet per minute, and has a range of 730 miles.

One of military aviation’s beautiful and most esteemed classics, pilots can command the skies from within the cockpit of the famed P-40B Tomahawk. From low-level, high-speed maneuvering, to soaring tens of thousands of feet aloft and then diving aggressively back toward sea level, the P-40B Tomahawk will always satisfy.

HOLY COW WE MADE IT TO RELEASE! Further fine tuned the flight model. Happy with take-off and general performance. More fine tuning post release.
