The 787-9 is a long-distance, wide-body, twin-engine airliner. The 787-9 took its maiden flight on September 17, 2013, and it was introduced on July 8, 2014. The aircraft is piloted by two and it can carry up to 420 passengers, although it typically seats 290 in standard configurations.

The 787-9 uses carbon fiber composite construction throughout its entire airframe. It features advanced avionics and flight systems, providing pilots optimal situational awareness and precision flight control. Its wing is a state-of-the-art design comprising raked tips that inhibit the formation of drag-inducing vortices, optimizing fuel efficiency. It also has a sound suppression system with noise-reducing engine nacelles.

The 787-9 measures 206 feet, 1 inch in length, stands 55 feet, 10 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 197 feet, 3 inches. Thrust is provided by two high-bypass turbofan engines that each can deliver up to 71,000 pounds of thrust. It has a range of 8,786 miles, it cruises at 562 miles per hour, and it has a top speed of 594 mph.

FLIGHT MODEL: ADJUSTED TURNING/BANKING TO BE MORE PRECISE (AS SEEN ON THE REAL PLANE); IT IS NOT SLOGGISH. IMPROVED WEIGHT AND BALANCE AND ADJUSTED THE SIMBRIEF PROFILES SO THE AIRCRAFT COULD FLY 17 HOURS NONSTOP AS IT SHOULD. THE PLANE WILL NOT OVERBANK ON AUTOPILOT. ENGINE POWER READJUSTED. THEY WERE UNDERPOWER.

EFB: ADDED T/D CALCULATOR: THE USER CAN PAUSE THE GAME/PLANE AT SPECIFIED ALTITUDE IF THE USER PLANS TO WALK AWAY NOT KNOWING WHEN THEY WILL RETURN TO THE COCKPIT. FOR THOSE ON XBOX, KEYBOARD IS NEEDED.

BODY: UPDATED CAC OUTFLOW TO ACTIVATE AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE AND ALTITUDE. (EXHAUSTS ON THE BELLY) THERE IS A NEW GPU CABLE(NOT THE FINAL VERSION), BUT IT WON'T GO UNDERGROUND. SYSTEMS Fixed incorrect FMC data, including multiple incorrect inputs. Updated PFD colors to more closely match the real avionics. Updated MFD for the General Electric engine type, removing N3. Updated EFB art with updated company logo.

BEHAVIORS Added wind reflection to the rudders. Spoiler behaviors are normal now when making turns.
