The Boeing 737 MAX is the fourth generation of the Boeing 737, a narrow-body airliner manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). It succeeds the Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG). It is based on earlier 737 designs, with more efficient CFM International LEAP-1B engines, aerodynamic changes including its distinctive split-tip winglets, and airframe modifications

IMPORTANT! For a correct use of the aircraft and the autopilot system it is necessary to set the MODERN flight mode.

The 737 MAX 8 is a twin-engine narrow-body airliner produced by American aerospace manufacturer Boeing. The aircraft, which entered commercial service in 2017, is the first iteration of the MAX generation of the venerable 737 lineage. The MAX 8, which can accommodate up to 210 seats, boasts a number of improvements over previous 737 models, including longer range, improved efficiency and flight performance, and an updated cockpit.

The 737 MAX 8 is 129 feet, 8 inches long and features a swept main wing with a span of 116 feet, 8 inches. The wing is adorned at each of its ends with split-tip winglets, which aid in aerodynamic efficiency. The airliner is powered by two high-efficiency CFM International LEAP-1B high-bypass turbofan engines that each deliver a maximum 29,317 pounds of thrust. The MAX 8 has a maximum takeoff weight of 181,200 pounds and can cruise at a speed of 521 miles per hour. It has a range of 4,085 miles and a service ceiling of 41,000 feet above sea level.

The cockpit of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 is rich in state-of-the-art avionics and flight control and diagnostic systems. All relevant performance data is had in a quick glance at the aircraft’s large color flight information displays of the glass cockpit, giving aviators a maximum level of confidence as they guide this latest version of an aerospace classic through the heights.
