The PA28 Archer II is an American single-engine, 4-seat monoplane. Introduced in 1975, it is a member of a popular PA28 family of light aircraft, the fist of which took its maiden flight in January of 1960. The Archer II features a larger wing, an elongated fuselage, and improved performance over its direct predecessors. The Archer II cabin seats up to four, including the pilot. It has a traditional empennage and a fixed tricycle undercarriage with wheel pants for maximum aerodynamic efficiency. The aircraft measures 23 feet, 10 inches in length, stands 7 feet, 4 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 35 feet. It is powered by a 4-cylinder piston engine that delivers up to 180 horsepower to a 2-blade, fixed-pitch propeller. The PA28 Archer II has a take-off ground roll of 870 feet and it lands in 925 feet.
