Introducing the AeroSachs Tecnam P2002 JF for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) – a meticulously engineered twin-seat, single-engine aircraft that brings true-to-life flying experiences right to your cockpit. Developed by erasam using data from the official Tecnam Flight Manual, this MSFS add-on delivers unparalleled simulation realism and attention to detail.

Key Features:

  • Authentic Flight Data: Crafted using the official Tecnam Flight Manual, the Tecnam P2002 JF faithfully reproduces the real aircraft’s performance and flight characteristics, ensuring a genuine flying experience.

  • Immersive 3D Cabin & Cockpit: Step into a fully animated, realistic 3D cabin offering multiple interior views – from Pilot and Copilot to Close-Up perspectives. Detailed PBR textures and adjustable views (via standard MSFS toolbar or keyboard shortcuts) bring every element to life.

  • Advanced Instrumentation & Avionics: The cockpit features a steam gauge panel with both analog and digital displays. On the left, vital flight instruments such as the suction vacuum gauge, ADF, VOR, airspeed, and attitude indicators keep you informed. On the right, detailed engine monitoring gauges, including propeller RPM, oil temperature/pressure, and fuel levels, work in perfect harmony with an interactive radio panel that offers options like the KAP140 autopilot and GPS systems (GNS430 or GTN650).

  • Interactive Flight Book (EFB): Control interior and exterior settings with the fully interactive EFB. Adjust cockpit effects, manage engine cowling doors, and toggle a range of features to suit your flight style – all with just a few clicks.

  • Customizable Exterior & Liveries: Personalize your aircraft with a variety of pre-installed liveries or create your own using the included PaintKit. Every detail—from animated moveable surfaces and landing gear to operational lighting systems—adds to the immersive simulation experience.

  • Comprehensive Interactive Checklist: Stay on track from pre-flight inspection to landing with a fully interactive checklist that mirrors the procedures found in the real aircraft’s POH.

Step into the virtual skies with the Tecnam P2002 JF and enjoy a flight simulation that’s as detailed and engaging as the real thing.

The P2002JF is a 2-seat, single-engine, light general aviation airplane developed and manufactured by Tecnam of Italy. The model is a variant of the P2002, the initial production airframes of which Tecnam first delivered in the early 2000s. The P2002JF has a fixed tricycle undercarriage with spatted main landing gear wheels.

Tecnam developed the P2002 line to serve a wide range of aviation needs, with a focus on flight training and general aviation. Built primarily of aluminum, the design features a low-mounted main wing, an enclosed cockpit with side-by-side seating, a high-visibility canopy, and a traditional empennage. It has dual stick controls in its cockpit and boasts an intuitive instrument layout that can be customized with one or multiple color flat-panel screens.

The P2002JF has earned a reputation as a forgiving and aerodynamically well-balanced aircraft, making it an excellent choice for flight training. Pilots throughout the world rave about its excellent handling, good range, and reliability. It has been used at flight schools, for general aviation, for limited military training use, and is a favorite for touring. In 2014, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency certified the P2002JF for flight by pilots using wheelchairs when equipped with a special hand-controls.

The P2002JF measures 21 feet, 8 inches in length, stands 7 feet, 11 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 28 feet, 2 inches. It is powered by a 4-cylinder Rotax 912 S2 piston engine that delivers up to 100 horsepower and turns a 2-blade, composite-wrapped wood propeller.

The P2002JF has a maximum range of 691 miles, a service ceiling of 15,000 feet above sea level, and a maximum climb rate of 800 feet per minute. It cruises at 136 miles per hour and stalls at 44 mph (flaps down).
