The P-92 Echo is a two-seat, single-engine, light-sport aircraft developed and manufactured by Italian aviation producer Tecnam. The airframe took its maiden flight on March 14, 1993 and it was introduced in 1994.

The Echo has become well-regarded as a trainer and general civil aviation aircraft since its release. Its design makes it easy to handle throughout all stages of flight, from take-off to landing. It is a forgiving craft in the air, but one that is responsive due to its light weight and well-balanced controls.

The forward fuselage of the P-92 Echo is constructed of steel and aluminum tubing with aluminum skin, and the tail section is a monocoque aluminum form. It has a standard empennage, a strut-braced, high-mounted main wing, and fixed tricycle landing gear. The cockpit features side-by-side seating and advanced avionics and flight controls.

The P-92 Echo measures 21 feet in length, stands 8 feet, 2 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 28 feet, 6 inches. It is powered by a 4-cylinder Rotax 912ULS piston engine that delivers up to 100 horsepower to a 2-blade fixed-pitch propeller. The P-92 has a stall speed (flaps down) of 43 miles per hour, a cruising speed of 130 mph, and a maximum speed of 146 mph. It has a range of 500 miles, a service ceiling of 14,800 feet above sea level, and a climb rate of 1,200 feet per minute.
