DESCRIPTION GENERAL INFORMATION

The Learjet Model 35 and Model 36 are a series of American multi-role business jets and military transport aircraft manufactured by Learjet.

The aircraft is powered by two Garrett TFE731-2 turbofan engines. Its cabin can be arranged for 6-8 passengers. The longer-range Model 36 has a shortened passenger area to provide more space in the aft fuselage for fuel tanks.

The engines are mounted nacelles on the sides of the aft fuselage. The wings are equipped with single-slotted flaps. The wingtip fuel tanks distinguish the design from other aircraft having similar functions.

The Model 35A is an upgraded Model 35 with TFE731-2-2B engines and a range of 2,789 miles, with a fuel capacity of 931 US gallons (3,524 L) with refueling accomplished at ground level through each wingtip tank. It was introduced in 1976, replacing the 35. Over 600 35As were built, with a production line that ended in 1993.

SIMULATION INFORMATION

The Learjet 35A project was overhauled from our FSX/P3D version. This includes upgrading the model along with new objects, textures, systems, effects and new features. With help from two real world active Lear 35A pilots and a retired Learjet 35 instructor we pushed the limits on the systems and simulations for this project. There are three choices of panels that include 3rd party GTN750 software and the working title GNS530. And for the first time in MSFS history we have the first PMS50 GTN750 available for Xbox.

The user manual will only list the system items throughout the aircraft so you should plan to watch video tutorials on YouTube from our channel and others. These can be found on our main website product page. So you can expect this product to take some time to learn.

The Learjet 35A is a twin-engine, medium-range, multi-role business jet aircraft developed and manufactured by Learjet. The 35A is an evolved iteration of the Learjet 35, which took its maiden flight on August 22, 1973. The Learjet 35A was introduced into service in 1976 and became one of the most successful, and iconic, jet aircraft ever produced.

The Learjet 35A traces its roots to the early 1960s with the founding of Learjet. The company’s first aircraft, the Learjet 23, established the aviation subindustry of small, fast jet aircraft produced for the business and VIP markets. Powered by twin turbojet engines and crewed by two, the Learjet 23 can accommodate up to six passengers. A series of more advanced Learjet aircraft followed, all powered by turbojet engines. The company then developed the 35 in the early 1970s based on the Learjet 25. The use of more efficient, quieter turbofan engines was one of the key distinguishing characteristics of the Learjet 35 over its predecessors. The company then created the 35A from the 35 by upgrading the engines to more efficient powerplants.

The Learjet 35A is piloted by two and can accommodate up to eight passengers. It features a low-mounted swept main wing with tip tanks and a T-tail empennage. The 35A measures 48 feet, 8 inches in length, stands 12 feet, 3 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 39 feet, 6 inches. The jet is powered by two Garrett TFE731-2-2B turbofan engines that each produce up to 3,500 pounds of thrust. The aircraft has a maximum range of 3,300 miles, a service ceiling of 45,000 feet above sea level, and it climbs at 4,500 feet per minute. It cruises at 481 miles per hour and has a top speed of 542 mph.

The Learjet WT GNS530 features the advanced N650/750 integrated avionics system that comprises GPS navigation and a communications suite.
