The P2012 Traveller is a twin-engine, high-wing, medium-sized utility aircraft developed and manufactured by Italian aviation producer Tecnam. The piston-powered P2012 took its maiden flight on July 21, 2016, and it entered service on February 22, 2020. Piloted by one or two, the aircraft can seat up to 9 passengers. Initially used for small commuter routes, the airframe is suitable for a wide variety of missions, including business, air ambulance, military, geophysical, and scientific research.

The P2012 Traveller evolved as a clean-sheet initiative to produce an aircraft focused on the short-haul passenger market that could easily be retrofit to serve a wide variety of other needs. The result was a simple, rugged, and reliable airplane that proved equally capable on short, unimproved strips as it is at modern facilities. Due to its design, including fixed tricycle landing gear and a large passenger door, it is straightforward to fly and maintain, and its passenger hold can be quickly re-arranged for cargo and other payloads.

The P2012 Traveller measures 38 feet, 9 inches in length, stands 14 feet, 5 inches tall, and has a semi-tapered main wing with a span of 45 feet, 11 inches. It features advanced flight controls and avionics with high-resolution color screens. Its wing, which incorporates slotted flaps, provides excellent short field performance.

The aircraft is powered by two wing-mounted, 6-cylinder, turbocharged Lycoming TEO-540C1A piston engines that each produce up to 375 horsepower. Each powerplant turns a 4-blade, constant-speed, fully-feathering propeller. The P2012 has a range of 1,090 miles, a service ceiling of 19,500 feet above sea level, and a climb rate of 1,140 feet per minute. It has a stall speed of 75 miles per hour and a maximum cruise speed of 223 mph.
