The AS 33 Me is a high-performance sailplane that blends championship-winning aerodynamics with the freedom of electric self-launch. Designed by Alexander Schleicher and brought to Microsoft Flight Simulator by Got Friends, the AS 33 Me is powered by a retractable EMRAX air-cooled electric motor, giving glider pilots complete independence from towplanes and winches. Development was guided in part by Stefan Langer, a three-time gliding World Champion and one of the most respected voices in the soaring community. His firsthand experience with the AS 33 Me and deep understanding of modern glider dynamics gave us the resources to push for a higher standard of realism in both behavior and detail. We have included a special SteFly Livery to celebrate his partnership with our team for this release. The AS 33 Me is offered as a single, fully featured release, with support for both 15-meter and 18-meter wingspan configurations. It has been built from the ground up to push the limits of what a sailplane can be in MSFS, featuring precision flight modeling, wing flex, surface animations, advanced battery logic, and an immersive cockpit experience.
