The H120 is a single-engine, multi-role, light utility helicopter. The rotorcraft seats a total of five, including pilot.

The H120 features a high-performance design coupled with advanced materials, avionics, and flight controls. The helicopter is constructed of a combination of metal alloys and composite materials. It uses a 3-blade main rotor head and an 8-blade fenestron anti-torque tail fan integrated into the tail boom. The rotor configuration provides responsiveness, precision control, and reduces noise.

The H120 can be configured for a variety of missions. These include a full spectrum of private civil uses, law enforcement, air ambulance, scientific research, and military. The flight controls are finely tuned to provide precision control and to be forgiving, allowing the pilot to focus on operation.

The helicopter measures 37 feet, 10 inches in length, stands 11 feet, 2 inches tall, and has a main rotor diameter of 32 feet, 10 inches. It is powered by a turboshaft engine that produces up to 504 horsepower for take-off and up to 449 horsepower for continuous operation.

The H120 has a range of 452 miles, an endurance of 4 hours, 30 minutes, and a cruise speed of 140 miles per hour. It has a service ceiling of 17,000 feet above sea level, an in-ground effect hover limit of 9,252 feet above sea level, and an out-of-ground effect hover limit of 7,612 feet above sea level.
