The A220-300 is a twin-engine, narrow-body commercial passenger aircraft developed to service short- and medium-range routes. Piloted by two, it can accommodate between 120 and 150 passengers in typical seating arrangements and has a maximum capacity of 160. The single-aisle jetliner took its maiden flight in February of 2015 and entered service in December of 2016.

A relatively new airliner, the A220-300 boasts modern systems that optimize pilot efficiency including advanced avionics and digital flight controls. It has a swept main wing with winglets to mitigate drag-inducing vortex formation for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
