TB21GTSINGLEFRENCHLHCTURBO

3.7/5 (303)

This is the sleek, French built Turbo GT. This modernistic 4 seater is capable of cruise speeds of 190 knots and the turbo charged GT version has a ceiling of 25,000 feet. The Twenty-One featured an all metal airframe with a 3 bladed propeller and the engine was the powerful T-10. When flying this high performance aircraft, you will note that with half fuel and only 2 passengers, she is a rocket. Her performance is awesome and yet she handles smoothly. The engine panel features a MAP and Fuel Flow instrument for those that fly constant speed prop planes by Manifold Pressure.

This aircraft package is fitted with the new, leading edge Asobo Avionics stack which includes the AS530, AS430, and Autopilot. These feature the newest HTML Java code scripting and the GPS systems are clear and quite modern, even featuring ootup modes, including in the Autopilot, where it goes into pre-flight mode as it turns on.

Night flights in the Trinidad feature 2 lighting systems; regular instruments illumination with dimming, blue glow mode, and also dome (spot light) mode. The Soundpack is also by Team Asobo and is exceptional, featuring amazing little sound effects and wind noises and even some airframe creaking for those hard maneuvers.

The Trinidad is fun to fly and is great for adventure flights and landing at grass airstrips. She handles a bit like a sports car on the ground, with a tight suspension which enables her to corner well.

Some other features of this plane include opening doors, opening cargo door, raising arm-rests, hiding yoke, park mode, awesome interior lighting system, high resolution and high realism PBR textures, and is able to be loaded out to maximum weight and fuel for passenger runs. There is a secondary material version for older rough planes which are included, making the total amount of texture liveries in this plane at 22 units.

If you love fast, general aviation aircraft and VOR navigation using new, state of the art GPS systems. If you love planes that have automotive like interiors. If you love gull wing doors on a plane. I think you will 'love' this sleek bird.

The TB21 Trinidad GT is a low-wing, single-engine light aircraft produced by the French aviation firm SOCATA between 2000 and 2005. The Trinidad GT ranks as one of the most modern of the company’s TB family of aircraft. The “GT” in its name indicates that it is “Generation Two,” and boasts a number of advancements over earlier generations, including an improved main wing, retractable tricycle landing gear, and an excellently configured cockpit.

The TB21 Trinidad GT features a spacious two-place, side-by-side cockpit and a removable rear bench seat certified for three passengers. Its main wing, which has a span of 32 feet, has a straight leading and trailing edge, as does its horizontal stabilizer. The aircraft is powered by a six-cylinder turbocharged Lycoming T10-540-AB1AD piston engine that delivers 250 horsepower to a Hartzell three-blade, constant-speed propeller.

The Trinidad has become known as a solid and reliable performer for pilots. Its turbocharged engine provides it with ample power to climb and cruise from sea level to its service ceiling of 25,000 feet. It has a top cruising speed of 215 miles per hour, a climb rate of 1,200 feet per minute, and an impressive range of 1,280 miles. Aviators know the Trinidad as a model that flies like a much larger aircraft, and due to its forgiving nature, is suited for pilots of all skill levels. It’s also renowned for the views from its cockpit. With a large, wraparound canopy, flightseeing and aerial exploring is a dream from the Trinidad.

VERSION 4.6.4 RELEASED SEPTEMBER 1, 2024

VERSION 4.5.0 RELEASED JANUARY 1, 0

Build 4.5.0 Updates as follows;

Please note that at high altitude, your airspeed will read much lower then your actual ground speed. You could be doing 155 Knots at FL250, but your ASI Instrument will be showing something like 95 Knots. This is because the air is thinner high up there in Airliner land. A great view from that altitude.

Happy Flights!
