The Citation CJ3 is a twin-engine light jet aircraft developed and manufactured by American aerospace company Cessna. It is piloted by one or two and can carry up to nine passengers in its cabin. The aircraft is an advanced member of the renowned Citation family of jets, the first of which flew on September 15, 1969 and entered service in 1972. The CJ3 took its maiden flight on April 17, 2003 and entered service in 2004.

Engineers at Cessna developed the CJ3 by extending the cabin length of its predecessor, the CJ2. The CJ3 features a low-mounted main wing, a T-tail empennage, and retractable tricycle landing gear. It is powered by two Williams International FJ44-3A turbofan engines that are mounted to its upper rear fuselage. The aircraft is renowned for its versatility, reliability, great range, and passenger comfort. The cockpit boasts Rockwell Collins avionics with a full suite of advanced components, including GPS navigation, weather tracking, and electronic checklists.

The Citation CJ3 measures 51 feet, 2 inches in length, stands 15 feet, 2 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 53 feet, 4 inches.
