Powerboat C3800

Rodrigo Moraes

POWERBOATSPEEDBOATMARINE RMRACING BOAT

5/5 (2)

Accelerate and challenge your friends in thrilling races with the Powerboat C3800 on 6 detailed circuits around the world, including the canals of Venice!

Each circuit has at least one helipad and accessible deck for walking and docking the boat. Consider gathering your friends in boats, seaplanes and helicopters in these scenarios, challenge races and rides and make your MSFS more immersive and cooperative!

This speedboat is innovative in allowing high-speed driving with integrated autopilot, dynamic lights and 29 customized liveries! You will have at your disposal two Mercury 450R engines with 900HP of total output and worked sounds for the best immersive experience.

The boat features 4k PBR textures, water droplets on the glass, navigation lights with spotlights, neon interior lights, integrated GPS, simplified ignition system with key and completely new and exclusive water navigation physics: your boat will present movements similar to real-life speedboats when accelerating and performing turns!

The circuits around the world are: New York, Miami, San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney and Venice. The latter has navigable canals and bridges recreated in 3D as in real life, such as the famous Rialto Bridge. You will be able to pass under bridges without any problem on a marked circuit and there are two grandstands with helipads for your friends to fly over your races.

Try it!!

RESOURCES:

6 racetracks around the world (type "Powerboat" in the airport selection) Easy Key Cold Start Improved navigation physics Functional display with GPS Water balance Start anywhere in the world over water Night lights The water trails instantly when on the move 29 different paints in the livery menu Add or remove people via the payload menu Custom sounds Friendly fps

HOW TO PLAY:

Click the ignition key to start the boat engine, PRESS THE UP/DOWN KEY ON THE JOYSTICK TO REMOVE THE ANCHOR, put the engine at 100% and wait a few seconds for the boat to start moving. The boat does not have a reverse motor. Use the elevator UP command to move your boat backwards.

Use the aileron controls to turn left and right. The rudder controls simulate axial movement control and do not activate the steering wheel animation, only the aileron control activates the steering wheel animation, as it is the main control method.

There is a tablet on the left panel with key blinds for ease of use in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.

IMPORTANT: In MSFS 2020, the autopilot is engaged via the "Y" button on the joystick. In MSFS 2024, consider configuring your joystick with this same button assigned to make it easier to use. It is important to note that the autopilot has one function: HDG lock. Therefore, when activating the autopilot, the HDG lock will be automatic, without the need for any other intervention. Configure buttons to facilitate the change of heading course on your joystick to make the autopilot easier to use.

It is important to note that the autopilot may behave poorly at low speeds. Consider using it only at high speeds to simulate cruising.

In MSFS 2024, the passenger may be hidden by default. Consider using the EFB to add it to the payload menu.

MSFS 2020/2024 does not have a realistic drift in the water, so navigation is still imprecise in several aspects. Do not expect extreme realism - the focus of this add-on is to provide a visual and enjoyable experience for those looking for alternatives to flying. Each instrument on the boat, livery and modeling was made with great care, affection and attention to detail to meet the highest commercial standards that MSFS and other markets demand, but for several other reasons that go beyond the developer, sailing with boats in MSFS is a challenge that is not always pleasant. Always keep in mind that everything was done to ensure that you have the best possible experience despite the limitations.

The Mystic C3800 is a high-speed luxury sport catamaran by Mystic Powerboats of the United States. The offering was announced in late 2017 and it was introduced in August of 2018. The C3800, which is on the larger end of the spectrum for its class, combines the best of high-speed performance with comfort and ease of operation. This fusion comes from Mystic’s years of racing boat innovation and experience on the water. The boat’s hull was derived from a Mystic low-compression design intended to race at speeds up to 180 miles per hour while maintaining a high degree of control. The C3800 operates comfortable throughout a range of conditions, even heavy seas, due to its large size and weight.

The C3800 measures 36 feet in length and has a beam of 10 feet, 9 inches. It can accommodate up to six with typical seating configurations. The boat’s simple and elegant helm allows it to be driven and throttled from either the port or starboard side. A 22-inch center-mounted Garmin multifunction display provides navigational information, boat information, and engine diagnostics.

The C3800 is powered by twin outboards, typically Mercury Racing 450R supercharged 4.6-liter V-8 engines that each produce up to 450 horsepower. It uses Mercury Racing Digital Zero Effort Controls for precision power input. It can cruise from 80 to 100 miles per hour, depending on conditions, and has a top speed of 112 miles per hour.
