The M2K-C is a single-seat, single-engine, supersonic, multi-role combat jet aircraft. Considered a fourth-generation fighter, it can undertake several missions, including interception, air superiority, strike, surface attack, close air support (CAS), strike coordination and reconnaissance (SCAR), forward observation, ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) data collections, and light bombing.

The M2K-C features a delta wing design with a single vertical stabilizer for yaw control. It has nine hardpoints that allow it to carry bombs, external drop tanks, missiles, and rocket pods.

The jet is capable of a wide range of flight profiles, from straight-and-level supersonic dashes at speeds of up to Mach 2.2 (at high altitudes) to slow-speed maneuvering just above sea level. Its delta wing allows slow-speed, high angle-of-attack (AoA) operations, making the craft extremely nimble.

The M2K-C measures approximately 47 feet in length and has a 30-foot wingspan. It is powered by a single afterburning turbofan engine that delivers up to 14,500 pounds of thrust in military power and up to 21,400 pounds with afterburner.

The M2K-C has a maximum range of 2,100 miles, a service ceiling of 56,000 feet above sea level, a climb rate of 56,000 feet per minute, and a top speed of 1,450 miles per hour.
