The 737 MAX 8 is a twin-engine narrow-body airliner produced by American aerospace manufacturer Boeing. The aircraft, which entered commercial service in 2017, is the first iteration of the MAX generation of the venerable 737 lineage. The MAX 8, which can accommodate up to 210 seats, boasts a number of improvements over previous 737 models, including longer range, improved efficiency and flight performance, and an updated cockpit.

The 737 MAX 8 is 129 feet, 8 inches long and features a swept main wing with a span of 116 feet, 8 inches. The wing is adorned at each of its ends with split-tip winglets, which aid in aerodynamic efficiency.
