The Pioneer 400, manufactured by the historic Italian company Alpi Aviation, is a powerful and versatile general aviation aircraft, thanks to its turbocharged engine, four comfortable seats, retractable landing gear, and features that allow VFR and IFR flights with takeoffs and landings even in short spaces. Developed in close official collaboration with the manufacturer, the first Pioneer available for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been recreated in every detail—both aesthetic and functional—with an accurate flight model achieved through tests conducted by real pilots and verification of parameter consistency with the POH. All of the aircraft’s systems are functionally simulated, including the electrical systems, engine operation, parameter management, and flight controls. All switches and levers are fully operational and behave exactly as they do in reality.

• Accurate Flight Model: the flight dynamics have been developed and validated to reflect the real aircraft’s maneuverability characteristics. Control response, stability, energy management and performance have been fine-tuned to replicate the aircraft’s behavior.
• Avionics and instrumentation: the double G3X Touch Glass Cockpit configuration offers clear, easy-to-read instrumentation suitable for circuit flying, advanced VFR navigation, IFR navigation, and basic instrument familiarization. It is also fully integrated with the PMS GTN650 and the TDS GTN650Xi (selectable by livery) GPS systems
• Interactive checklist: faithfully reproduces the checklist as reported in the official POH.
• Electronic flight book: allows you to change on the fly the GPS GTN650 choice (Asobo vs PMS or TDS) and to toggle the visibility of optional features such as pitot covers, GPU, fuselage cover, tie-downs, copilot, passengers, and cargo.
• Liveries: 7 beautiful liveries are available in the package based on real-world designs
• Instruction manual: a detailed handbook to learn about every function and feature of the aircraft.
