Featuring the pinpoint-accurate flight model, complex systems, incredible auditory, and gorgeous visual model you'd expect from COWS, but packed in a nimble single-engine workhorse, the DA40 Series is meticulously tailored for students to practice critical procedures and manoeuvres.

The DA40-XLS is a single-engine, low-wing, four-seat general aviation airplane. The aircraft is renowned for being both elegant in form and exceptionally utilitarian. One of the most notable aspects of the DA40-XLS is its large canopy that grants pilots and passengers a sweeping, cinematic field of view.

The DA40-XLS features composite construction, a T-tail empennage, and fixed tricycle landing gear. It measures 26 feet, 5 inches in length and has a wingspan of 39 feet, 6 inches. The cockpit boasts a refined stick for exceptional control and an advanced flat panel avionics package. It is powered by a 4-cylinder piston engine that delivers up to 180 horsepower and turns a 3-blade, composite propeller.

The DA40-XLS has a range of 900 miles, cruises at 173 miles per hour, and has a top speed of 181 mph. It climbs at 1,120 feet per minute and has a service ceiling of 16,400 feet above sea level.
