The F-5 Freedom Fighter and its development the F-5E, were as much an extension of American foreign policy as it was a fighter aircraft in its own right. The winner of the International Fighter Competition, it was intended to provide an effective low cost fighter for American allies.

Over 3,800 F-5's of all variants were produced before production ended in 1987. While primarily serving with allied air forces, a number of F-5's returned to the US and serve in an adversary role with US forces.

This pack brings to life five airframes of VFC-111, the legendary Sundowners, while based at NAS Key West.
