A Proven Multi-Mission Light Attack and Tactical Training Aircraft

The A-29 Super Tucano is a turboprop military aircraft developed by Embraer for advanced pilot training and operational roles including light attack and reconnaissance.

Powered by the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-68C turboprop engine, rated at 1,600 shp, the aircraft combines strong performance, endurance and maneuverability with the ability to operate in demanding environments. Its tandem-seat cockpit includes multifunction displays, a Head-Up Display and integrated avionics supporting both training and operational use. Equipment and mission capabilities may vary according to aircraft configuration and operator requirements.

This recreation brings the A-29 Super Tucano to Microsoft Flight Simulator with a detailed exterior and cockpit, custom avionics, flight dynamics and aircraft systems developed specifically for this simulation.

The flight model and aircraft performance have been developed and tuned using publicly available A-29 data wherever possible. Differences may still exist due to simulator limitations, unavailable engineering data and differences between real-world aircraft configurations.

External equipment, fuel tanks, pylons and other components may vary according to the selected variant and simulator configuration. Demonstration smoke is available only on applicable variants and uses the assigned Logo Light command.

Some cockpit controls may be represented visually without a simulated function when the corresponding real-world system cannot reasonably be reproduced.
