Originally announced in 2012 under the Textron Aviation banner, the Cessna Citation Longitude had its first flight in 2016, and became a soaring entry in the crowded super-midsize business jet market in the autumn of 2019.

Built in Textron's Wichita, Kansas facility, the Longitude is a derivation of Cessna's smaller Latitude, utilizing the same clean-sheet fuselage cross-section as its sibling bizjet, with an additional row, an all-new "gently swept" wing with winglets, and T-tail empennage.

While business passengers will enjoy a smooth ride in a board-room size cabin, pilots up front are treated to a high-tech cockpit created around the Garmin G5000 flight deck, a touchscreen-controlled integrated avionics suite complete with heads-up display, enhanced-vision capability, and real-time system diagnostics.

Powered by a pair of Honeywell FADEC-equipped HTF7700L turbofans, including fully-integrated autothrottles as well as flight envelope protection, the Longitude sees reduced fuel burn and operating costs -- making this Citation a true long-range luxury aircraft that brings intercontinental business within reach.
