The Kodiak 100 Series II is a high-wing, single-engine turboprop aircraft, capable of transporting up to 9 passengers or cargo up to a distance of 1,132nm. Equipped with the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-34 engine flat-rated at 750shp, the amphibian variant of the Kodiak is capable of taking off from water runways in less than 1000ft. The amphibian composite floats give the aircraft the aircraft the ability to operate off land and water with minimal weight increase while retaining a cruise speed of 162kts. Created with the help of Daher and real Kodiak pilots, the SWS Kodiak Amphibian features 36 different liveries, authentic flight dynamics and high quality systems modelling!

Features include:

  • Realistic flight model including beta range
  • Functional water rudders allowing for tight turns
  • Full G1000 NXi integration
  • Custom air conditioning system
  • Accurate 3D model created from factory CAD data
  • Four different interiors: cargo, passenger, mixed, summit (executive)
  • High quality sounds recorded from the real aircraft
  • Custom animations: tail fluttering, working cabin lighting, armrests, air conditioning
  • PDF manual included in add-on folder

The Kodiak 100 is a single-engine, high-wing monoplane produced by Franco-American aerospace manufacturer Daher. The Kodiak 100, which was originally developed by Quest Aircraft Company in Idaho, USA, is a short takeoff and landing (STOL)-capable aircraft that is crewed by 1 and can carry up to nine passengers. Equipped with amphibious floats, the Kodiak 100 is one of the most capable bush aircraft ever produced, able to operate out of land or water.

The Kodiak 100 measures 34 feet, 2 inches in length, has a main wing with a span of 45 feet, and features a traditional empennage. The Kodiak 100 is powered by a 750-horsepower Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-34 turboprop engine that turns a 4-blade constant-speed, reversible propeller. The aircraft has a range of 1,000 miles, a service ceiling of 20,000 feet when fitted with the Aerocet 6650 amphibious floats, and cruises at 162 knots true airspeed (KTAS).

Designed from the start for maximum utility, even when operating out of the most rudimentary of airfields and in austere conditions, the Daher Kodiak 100 is a backcountry flyer’s dream. Amphibious when on floats, and with power to spare thanks to the PT6A-34 turboprop, this advanced STOL machine allows aviators to explore the farthest reaches of the planet.
