3.5/5 (333)

The A220 is a series of two narrow-body airliners by Airbus Canada LP. Bombardier originally developed it and had two years in service as the CSeries. The program was launched on 13 July 2008. The smaller A220-100 (formerly CS100) made its maiden flight on 16 September 2013, received an initial type certificate from Transport Canada on 18 December 2015, and entered service on 15 July 2016 with launch operator Swiss Global Air Lines. The longer A220-300 (formerly CS300) first flew on 27 February 2015, received an initial type certificate on 11 July 2016, and entered service with airBaltic on 14 December 2016. In July 2018, the aircraft was rebranded as the A220 after Airbus acquired a majority stake in the program through a joint venture that became ACLP in June 2019. In August, a second A220 final assembly line opened at the Airbus Mobile facility in Alabama, supplementing the main facility in Mirabel, Quebec. In February 2020, Airbus increased its stake in ACLP to 75% through Bombardier's exit, while Investissement Québec held the remaining stake. Powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G geared turbofan engines under its wings, the twinjet features fly-by-wire flight controls, a carbon composite wing, an aluminum-lithium fuselage, and optimized aerodynamics for better fuel efficiency. The aircraft family offers maximum take-off weights from 63.1 to 70.9 t (139,000 to 156,000 lb), and cover a 3,450–3,600 nmi (6,390–6,670 km; 3,970–4,140 mi) range. Both launch operators recorded better-than-expected fuel burn and dispatch reliability and positive feedback from passengers and crew. As of March 2024, the global A220 fleet had completed more than 1.1 million flights over 1.9 million block hours without accidents. The 35 m (115 ft) long A220-100 seats 108 to 133, while the 38.7 m (127 ft) long A220-300 seats 130 to 160. The ACJ TwoTwenty is the business jet version of the A220-100, launched in late 2020. The A220 family complements the A319neo in the Airbus range and competes with B737 MAX 7 and the smaller four-abreast E195-E2 and E190-E2. As of June 2024, 902 A220s had been ordered, of which 342 had been delivered, and all were in commercial service with 21 operators. Delta Air Lines is the largest operator, with 71 aircraft in its fleet. Virtualcol is proud to present our version NO STUDY LEVEL and NO REAL COCKPIT about this model, developed for beginners and flight enthusiasts who search flight for relax and diversion. Our low-cost model, but with a complete modeling and texturizing of 8K in the exterior model and 4K in the interior and cockpit, offers the user a complete immersion in the game. If you are a real pilot or wish for a converter in one, this is not your airplane because it's based on default requirements of the flight simulator for GAME, not TRAINING. The pack includes:

  • Two models, -100 and -300
  • Glass cockpit, similar BUT NOT EQUAL to real
  • 17 Liveries in 8K resolution
  • Full texturized in 4K resolution interior and cockpit
  • Sound based in the real engines
  • Wing flex animation
  • All default effects and flight dynamics
  • Flight attendant voices in 6 languages with option to manage it manual or automatic
  • Tablet for beginner starter engines
  • Documentation and indications in the same tablet. NOT INCLUDE NAVIGRAPH OPTION YET.

The A220-100 is a twin-engine, narrow-body airliner produced by European aircraft manufacturer Airbus. The -100 is crewed by two and carries between 100 and 120, with a maximum of 135 passengers. It is the shorter of the two variants of the A220 family and was initially sold as the CS100 by Bombardier. The single-aisle jetliner took its maiden flight on September 16, 2013 and entered service on July 15, 2016.

The A220-100 measures 114 feet, 10 inches in length, stands 37 feet, 8 inches high, and features a low main wing with a span of 115 feet, 1 inches, including winglets. Its cockpit is designed for maximum pilot efficiency and boasts advanced avionics and digital flight controls.

The A220-100 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1500G high-bypass turbofan engines that each generate up to 23,300 pounds of thrust. The airliner has a range of 3,971 miles, a ceiling of 41,000 feet above sea level, and a cruise speed of 514 miles per hour.

One of the world’s most advanced airliners, the Airbus A220-100 is an icon of efficiency. From take-off to landing, pilots relish flying this feat of modern engineering.

The A220-300 is a narrow-body, twin-engine airliner produced by European aviation consortium Airbus. The -300 is the longer of the two iterations of the A220 line, the other being the A220-100. The aircraft took its first flight on February 27, 2015 and entered service in December of 2016.

The A220-300 measures 127 feet in length, stands 37 feet, 8 inches tall, and has a wingspan of 115 feet, 1 inch. It features a state-of-the-art flight control system and a cockpit engineered for maximum pilot efficiency. It is piloted by two and can seat up to 160, although the aircraft accommodates between 120 and 150 passengers in typical seating arrangements.

The A220-300 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1500G high-bypass turbofan engines that each generates up to 23,300 pounds of thrust. The jetliner has a range of 4,143 miles, a ceiling of 41,000 feet above sea level, and a cruise speed of 514 miles per hour.
