The SubSonex JSX-2 is a low-wing, single-seat, single-engine light personal jet airplane by Sonex Aircraft of the United States. The JSX-2 took its fist flight on July 10, 2014, and Sonex introduced it as a home-built kit in the fall of that year. The first customer-built JSX-2 took to the sky in October of 2015.

The JSX-2 measures 16 feet, 6 inches in length, has a wingspan of 18 feet, and features a V-tail empennage and retractable tricycle landing gear. It is powered by a PBS TJ-100 turbojet that produces up to 290 pounds of thrust. The engine is mounted on the upper portion of the rear fuselage, such that its exhaust travels unencumbered through the V-tail. The JSX-2 cruises at 240 miles per hour, has a top speed of 265, and has a range of 480 miles.

The SubSonex JSX-2 by Sonex Aircraft is a tiny package that delivers big offerings to aviators. The jet can be used as a trainer, due to its forgiving nature, and it can also be used for aerobatics, with a climb rate of 1,600 feet per minute and the ability to pull up to 6gs. Regardless of application, the jet delivers exhilaration, from the moment it rolls down the runway for takeoff till it comes to a standstill after touching back down onto the ground.
