Kaohsiung International Airport (IATA: KHH; ICAO: RCKH) is the second capacity air transportation hub in southern Taiwan and is also named "Xiaogang Airport" by its location. Kaohsiung International Airport is the main hub airport of UNI Air and Daily Air, and is also the secondary base of China Airlines and EVA Air. Kaohsiung International Airport has a pedestrian Bridge 343 meters in length, for connections between domestic and international terminals. The International Terminal was opened in 1997 with 12 boarding gates, all of which have jetways. The domestic terminal has 7 boarding gates without jetways on account of the small aircraft unusable. There are more than 20 airlines flying directly to cities in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia, there are four domestic airlines flying directly to eastern cities and offshore islands in Taiwan at Kaohsiung International Airport.
