Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (LEBL) is the international commercial airport of Barcelona, Spain. With almost 50 million passengers (2023), it is the second largest airport in Spain and the seventh largest in Europe. It serves as a hub for Air Nostrum, Ryanair and Vueling. For this expansion, a custom aerial image was used, which was extensively adapted and color-corrected for a realistic representation and thus seamlessly connects to the default simulator landscape. The numerous buildings and facilities that have been recreated in the scenery include the newly constructed jetways at Terminal 1. Animated boarding bridges, numerous static objects such as apron vehicles and realistic dynamic lighting at night bring the airport to life.
