Campo dos Amarais State Airport (IATA: CPQ, ICAO: SDAM) is an airport located in the North Zone of Campinas, next to Estrada dos Amarais and close to Rodovia Dom Pedro I, in the middle of the stretch between Nova Aparecida and Barão Geraldo , intended for small aircraft, such as executive jets, air taxis and pilot training, with 25 hangars. From 2009 onwards, the airport began to have a structure for night landings and take-offs, the approval and authorization of which was only completed in December 2010.
