Uberlândia Airport - Tenente-Coronel Aviador César Bombonato (SBUL / UDI) is a major regional airport located just 8 km from downtown Uberlândia, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Strategically positioned in the Triângulo Mineiro region, it plays a vital role in connecting one of Brazil’s most important agribusiness and logistics hubs to the rest of the country.
This airport features a 2,100-meter asphalt runway (04/22), supporting commercial jets such as Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. It handles over 1 million passengers annually and operates daily flights to São Paulo, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Porto Seguro, and other major destinations.
Modern infrastructure includes ILS approach, LED lighting, climatized terminal areas, VIP lounges, rental car counters, food courts, and accessibility solutions. In 2022, Aena Brasil took over airport operations and initiated a R$300 million expansion project to double the terminal size, add jetways, and improve ground services.
SBUL is a key aviation gateway for the state of Minas Gerais and continues to grow in passenger volume, cargo operations, and overall service quality—making it an essential hub in Brazil’s regional air network.
