Interlaken Airport (ICAO: LSMI) is a former military airbase in Interlaken, Switzerland. Interlaken Airport was constructed during World War II. The airbase is now closed to scheduled commercial flights.

Interlaken Airport also accomodates REGA 10 Wilderswil base. REGA 10 carries out demanding rescue operations on the highest peaks. Its activity is marked by strong seasonal fluctuations due to tourism. In the summer, the crew mainly flies to the aid of sick or injured vacationers; in winter, with surfers and skiers. The Bernese Oberland team carries out a total of more than 1100 missions per year.

The Jungfrau Park is an amusement park located near Interlaken, closed to the runway. It opened as the Mystery Park in 2003. The park consists of seven pavilions, each of which features one of several great "mysteries" of the world.

Either you fly planes or helicopters, enjoy this wonderful airport!
