The Albertville - Général Pierre Delachenal (LFKA) aerodrome is located 7km south-west of Albertville, in the French Alps, a few minutes flight from the airports of Chambéry, Annecy and the altiports of Megève, Méribel and Courchevel. Widely used for mountain rescue, all aeronautical leisure activities are also practiced there. The grass runway was paved for the Olympic Games in Albertville in 1992, and the aerodrome was renamed Général Pierre Delachenal in homage to the founder of the famous Patrouille de France. The aerodrome has a paved runway oriented NE-SW, 800 meters long and 21 wide.
