Avignon, in the heart of Provence, is the main city of Vaucluse, world famous for its annual festival, one of the largest in the world and for its old town, with the « Palais des Papes » or its bridge, subject of a known old song! Located in the southeast of the city, the International Airport of Avignon-caumont, ICAO code LFMV is a civil, IFR, VFR airport.

With a main runway of 1900m, it is open to commercial, to business aviation and general aviation. The airport had more than 50,000 movements in 2019.
