Sulphur Creek Ranch has had quite a history. Once known as a destination Resort for the Hollywood elite, actors used to come here to experience the Wild West and the wildlife that surrounds it. These days it caters to hunting trips, horseback riding, and of course, our beloved Backcountry Pilots!The 3300 ft airstrip here caters to landing from the west and a takeoff to the east. Trees do hinder your approach from the east, and the slope is more favorable from the west. Back then, the Johnson Air Service DC-3 used to fly in here. You can get a lot of variety of aircraft in here. Remember, breakfast starts at 8:30 pm and no sooner!
