Porto Seguro Airport is a Brazilian airport located in Porto Seguro, in southern Bahia. It is located on Brigadeiro Faria Lima Avenue, two kilometers from the city center and a few meters from the bus terminal. It is one of the airports in Brazil that receives the most charter flights from national and international destinations, and the main Brazilian airlines operate there regularly. It is one of the twenty airports in Bahia included in the Regional Aviation Development Plan (PDAR), created in 2012 by the federal government, which aimed to build and/or renovate 270 airports throughout the country. It has a runway for landings and take-offs measuring two thousand meters by 45 meters and a passenger terminal with an area of 33,201 square meters. The operational aids used for landing and air navigation procedures are the non-directional radio beacon ( NDB ) and the Precision Approach Path Indicator ( PAPI ).
