The Paterzell airfield (listed as EDPN but official ICAO EDPZ) of the LSV Weilheim Peißenberg e.V. is beautifully situated, about 7 km north-west of Weilheim at the foot of the almost 1000 meter high Peißenberg. The asphalt runway in Paterzell is 475 m (1296 Ft) long and the length of the grass runways that can be used without any problems is around 250 m (820 Ft), depending on the weather (boggy ground). The circuit for motor-driven aircraft and gliders is to the east of the airfield. In east and north-east positions, the slope immediately next to the airfield can be used for slope flying in order to connect to the thermals. In addition to the possibility of aircraft towing with a local Aviat Husky, they also have a 300 HP Tost double drum winch with synthetic ropes. Towing heights of 300 m and more are the norm, even with heavy two-seaters, such as a DG 1000S. All 3D models are handmade in Bavaria and built with love :)
