RWG 1935 LAX MINES FIELD AIRPORT

In 1928, the Los Angeles City Council selected 640 acres in the south part of Westchester as the site of a new airport for the city.

The fields of wheal, barley and lima beans were converted into dirt landing strips without any terminal building.

Mines Field officially opened as Los Angeles Airport in 1930.

In 1941, it changed its name to Los Angeles Airport and later in 1949 to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY OTHER SCENE IN THE SAME LOCATION IN 2020 AND WILL MODIFY THESE OTHER SCENES TO ALLOW IMMERSION INTO THE 1930'S. YOU WILL HAVE TO MANAGE THEM BY INSTALLING/UNINSTALLING THEM IF YOU WANT TO GO BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN 1935 AND TODAY.

RWG USA1935 is an optional add-on increasing even more immersion by changing planes, services and countries , adding beacon lights route, modifying area capital city and reducing night lights... but is not essential.
