Kazan Airport named after Gabdulla Tukai (tat. Gabdulla Tukai isemendәge Kazan Airports; IATA: KZN, ICAO: UWKD) is an international airport of federal importance in the city of Kazan, the largest in passenger traffic among cities located along the Volga River. It is located 26 km to the south-east of the city near the village Stolbishche in Laishevsky region of Tatarstan.
The airport is the base for the Kazan Air Company, as well as one of the base for the airline SVT Aero. Previously, it was also the base airport for the former airline Tatarstan all the time of its existence, as well as one of the base airport for Ak Bars Aero.
At the end of 2021, the passenger traffic of the airport was 3,876,000 people, which makes it the 12th busiest airport in Russia.
