The Piloto Civil Norberto Fernández International Airport (FAA: RGL - IATA: RGL - OACI: SAWG), is an airport that is located about 8 km northwest of the center of Río Gallegos, in the province of Santa Cruz.

The airport is the base for air operations to Antarctica. It was also an obligatory stopover for the "Jumbos" of Aerolineas Argentinas, who made the transpolar flight from Buenos Aires to New Zealand and Australia.

The Aviation Section of the XI Army of the XI Mechanized Brigade of the Argentine Army and the Río Gallegos Military Air Base of the Argentine Air Force are located at this airport.
